On March 19, 2019, the inspection and procurement delegation of Medical Device Branch of the Federation of Thai Industries was led by Mr. Sutee, the Secretary General, and visited Beijing Biosis Healing Biological Technology Co., Ltd.
In November 2018, Mr. Li Xuejun, CEO of Beijing Biosis Healing Biological Technology Co., Ltd., executive vice chairman of Medical Device Branch of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce, with the delegation visited the Medical Device Branch of the Thai Federation of Industries. After more than 3 months of negotiations, at the invitation of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Pharmaceutical Industry Chamber of Commerce, the inspection and procurement delegation of the Medical Device Branch of the Federation of Thai Industries was led by Secretary-General Mr. Sutee and arrived at Beijing on March 18, 2019, beginning to visit a number of medical device companies in Beijing .
On March 19, the delegation led by Wang Lei, Vice President in marketing of Biosis Healing,inspected and investigate the production workshop and products at Biosis Healing Daxing headquarters. Chairman Zhao Bo, CEO Li Xuejun, COO Zhang Jinhui and other company leaders met with the delegation.
The two sides conducted detailed consultations and negotiations on surgical instrument series, biological materials SIS, medical beauty and other products. At the product display, Dr. Lei Wang showed everyone how to use 12 surgical instruments including Disposable Endoscopic Linear Cutter Stapler, Disposable Circumcision Stapler, Disposable Hemorrhoidal Stapler and other products. This series of products is mainly suitable for various operations that require mechanized cutting and anastomosis.
These instruments are simple to use, easy to operate, safe and reliable. They are widely used in minimally invasive surgery in thoracic surgery and abdominal surgery. The damage to surrounding tissues is minimized. Patients have significantly reduced postoperative wound pain. It can reduce the cost burden of patients, accelerate the turnover rate of hospital bed, let patients regain their health quickly.
Regenerative extracellular matrix-derived biomaterial SIS, as the core technology of Biosis Healing also attracted great interest from the delegation. In particular, the two sides talked about the unique biological igation of the intersphincteric fistula tract(LIFT operation) of anal fistula products. 18 cases was first reported by Thai surgeon Rojanasakul in 2007. Thai delegation admired Biosis Healing as the second manufacturer of this product and strongly hoped to introduce this product to Thai and ASEAN markets.
In the product exhibition hall, CEO Mr. Li Xuejun introduced the history, the corporate culture and the achievements in these years of Biosis Healing to the delegation in detail. Biosis Healing was established in 2012. After just six years of development, it has become a star biopharmaceutical company. The R&D center has been funded by the NDRC's biomedical public service platform project. The research results of biomaterials have been included in the Zhongguancun 40-year biomedical innovation representative.
After in-depth exchanges, the inspection team developed a strong interest in the culture and products of Biosis Healing. Both sides reached a preliminary intention to introduce products of Biosis Healing into Thailand in accordance with the "Belt and Road" strategy. Comprehensive cooperation in registration, doctor communication, market promotion, and technology transfer would be expanded. Thai delegation stated that it will accompany Biosis Healing into Thailand starting from the sales agent to the introduction of production technology in the future, and eventually cover the entire ASEAN market.
China and Thailand are friendly and close neighbors. The peoples of the two countries have deep feelings and exchanges and cooperation in various fields are extensive and deep. With the help of the Medical Device Branch of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce, Biosis Healing will also actively strive to promote the entry of Chinese medical device products into the Thai market, taking the “Belt and Road” strategy as the direction and provide patients with high quality and low cost surgical products.
