International Medical Conference
The 15th Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) Annual Conference was held at Nusa Dua Conference Center of Bali, October 3rd to 5th, 2019. More than 500 experts and scholars on hernia surgery from 29 countries and regions around the world gathered in this conference, which was an academic feast for experts and scholars on hernia surgery from the Asia Pacific region and even the world. During the three-day conference, there was a full house every day.
Renowned experts from all over the world made different forms of explanation and discussion on the current situation and future development of hernia surgery in the APHS conference. It should be noted that on the first day of the APHS conference, there was a global live broadcast of open and minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery for hernia and abdominal external hernia of abdominal wall surgery from Beijing Chaoyang Hospital Affiliated to Capital Medical University of China. In just a few hours, a total of nine surgeries were broadcasted. Biosis Healing’s SIS biological materials - biological hernia patch and 3D polymer polypropylene patch were used in these operations.

To better show the new medical products made in China to people, Biosis Healing set an independent exhibition stand at the APHS conference to demonstrate and introduce the products of Biosis Healing to the participants. Biosis Healing is a great representative of China in the 15th Asia Pacific Hernia Society (APHS) Annual Conference. The excellent products attracted many audiences as well as experts attending the conference.
