August 17th-18th in 2019, the first International Frontier Medical Summit Forum (CIMS 2019), sponsored by “China Medical Equipment Magazine” and the American Physician Advancement Association (AMPSAA), and co-organized by Beijing Biosis Healing Biological Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held in the Beijing National Convention Center. This forum was initiated by more than 20 foreign experts and more than 100 domestic experts to set up the "International Excellence Surgical Hundred Club-Oncology Surgery" and "International Excellence Surgical Hundred Club-Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery", nearly 200 outstanding medical workers from different regions participated in the meeting.
Session I: Oncology Treatment Options Forum
Oncology treatment options forum was hosted by Professor Gary Y. Yang, Professor of Radiology at Loma Linda University, and the experts present were more than 10 experts, including professor of Radiology at Loma Linda University-Professor Gary Y. Yang, and oncologist in academy of internal medicine of Stanford University-Professor Heather Wakelee, a clinical expert in neurology in department of neurology of Stanford University-Professor Seema Nagpal, chief physician of thoracic surgery of Shanghai Jiaotong University Affiliated Chest Hospital-Professor Zhao Yan, chief physician of Peking University Cancer Hospital-Professor Zhang Lijian, chief physician in thoracic surgery department of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital-Professor Fenggang, deputy chief physician in gastrointestinal surgery of Zhongshan Hospital-Doctor Liu Fenglin.
The organizer specially invited Professor Heather Wakelee, an oncologist in academy of internal medicine of Stanford University, to give a speech. Professor Wakelee shared analysis of multiple clinical cases in phase III on-site about PD- (L) 1 checkpoint inhibitors in advanced non-small cell lung cancernon-small cell lung cancer (NSCLS). He also exchanged medical problems in clinical treatment of advanced cancer with International Excellence Surgical Hundred Club-Chairman of oncological surgery Professor Zhao Yan.
At noon on August 17th, at 12, after Professor Wakelee finished the lecture, the chairman of the forum, chief physician of thoracic surgery of Shanghai Jiaotong University Affiliated Chest Hospital-Professor Zhao Yan, chief physician of Peking University Cancer Hospital-Professor Zhang Lijian, co-chairman of the forum, deputy chief physician in gastrointestinal surgery of Zhongshan Hospital-Doctor Liu Fenglin, chief physician in thoracic surgery department of Sichuan Provincial People's Hospital-Professor Fenggang, director of neuro-oncology department of Shandong Cancer Hospital-Professor Tao Rongjie, vice president of marketing of Beijing Biosis Healing Biological Technology Co., Ltd.-Dr. Wang Lei, and members of the club held a ribbon-cutting ceremony and announced the official launch of the club.
Dr. Wang Lei, vice president of marketing of Beijing Biosis Healing Biological Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the clinical advantages and application prospects of the main products of Biosis Healing, "implantable surgical instruments" and "non-crosslinked extracellular matrix sources SIS patch", in tumor surgery and orthopedics, to many present domestic and foreign medical experts. The experts presented in the Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Forum were more than 10 experts, including professor of plastic surgery of Loma Linda University- Professor SUbhas Gupta, professor of plastic and reconstructive surgery of Rutgers University of New Jersey Medical School- Professor Edward, attending physician of plastic surgery of Siddhartha senai medical center- Dr. Leif Rogers, chief physician of plastic surgery of Peking University Third Hospital- Professor Li Jianning, chief physician of urology andrology of Beijing Chaoyang Hospital, Capital Medical University- Professor Tian Long and dermatologist and venereal disease specialist of Beijing Meiyan Medical Cosmetic Clinic-Dr. Liu Hongmei. Professor of plastic surgery of Loma Linda University- Professor SUbhas Gupta gave a live speech at the meeting. Dr. Gupta shared the research and clinical application cases of beauty and regenerative medicine, including stem cell transplantation, minimally invasive technology, complex soft tissue defects and breast reconstruction and other areas.
